Job Title: SEND Teacher

Salary: £120 - £150 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a warm and friendly SEND school in Middlesbrough, who are looking to appoint a dedicated SEND Teacher. The school provides a supportive and nurturing environment where every pupil is encouraged to achieve their full potential through a personalised and inclusive approach to learning.

The school is looking to take on a SEND Teacher on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful SEND Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupils with PMLD, Autism and SEMH, while creating a positive and safe learning environment that meets the individual needs of every learner.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

• QTS
• Experience working with children and young people with additional needs, specifically PMLD, Autism and SEMH
• Strong classroom management skills
• The ability to differentiate learning to meet individual needs
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
