SEND Teacher - Maidstone

Are you a passionate and experienced SEND Teacher looking for a rewarding long-term opportunity£ Weandrsquo;re working in partnership with a fantastic all-through school in Maidstone that is seeking a dedicated educator to support a small group of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is a full teaching role with planning and responsibilities included, starting ASAP with the potential to go permanent.

Contract: Long term to permanent, Starting ASAP

Salary: andpound;168.80 - andpound;232.57 per day

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of SEND pupils
• Take full responsibility for planning, assessment, and classroom management
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
• Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and families
• Track progress and adapt strategies to meet individual learning goals
• Contribute to EHCP reviews and liaise with external agencies when required
• Foster emotional wellbeing and social development alongside academic growth

Qualifications andamp; Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) andndash; ideally Primary trained
• Proven experience working with children with a range of SEND
• Experience supporting pupils with Downandrsquo;s Syndrome is desirable but not essential
• Strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies and EHCPs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A nurturing, patient, and resilient approach to teaching
