Supply Desk is currently recruiting for a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join a well-resourced and supportive special school in Slough. This school provides education for pupils with complex needs, including severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), and associated medical or sensory needs.

About the Role:
- Deliver structured, engaging lessons tailored to pupils with complex needs
- Plan and adapt learning to support a wide range of physical, cognitive, and emotional needs
- Create a nurturing, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with SENCOs, therapists, support staff, and families
- Support the development of communication, independence, and life skills
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) andndash; experience in SEN/complex needs is essential
- Be confident using a range of strategies including sensory approaches, visual supports, and communication aids (e.g. PECS, Makaton)
- Have strong behaviour management skills and an empathetic, resilient mindset
- Be proactive, creative, and adaptable to individual student needs
- Be committed to supporting students holisticallyandmdash;academically, socially, and emotionally
