The Role
You will be instrumental in delivering tailored lessons designed to meet diverse learning needs within a highly supportive environment that values both pupil and staff wellbeing. Close collaboration with teaching assistants, therapists, and families will be central to your work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons for pupils with SEN
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
- Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
- Work closely with the wider SEN team, parents, and external professionals
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with children with SEN (including ASD, MLD, SEMH or similar)
- Empathetic, adaptable, and resilient approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
