Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils with a range of SEN needs
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Work closely with support staff, therapists, and families to develop personalised learning plans
- Use strategies like sensory integration, visual timetables, and communication aids
- Track progress and celebrate every milestoneandmdash;big or small
Qualifications andamp; Skills
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching primary-aged children, ideally in a SEN setting
- Knowledge of strategies for supporting pupils with ASD, SEMH, and other learning needs
- Strong communication, empathy, and adaptability
- A sense of humour and a passion for inclusive education
