In this role, you will deliver high-impact, differentiated learning tailored to individual EHCP outcomes. You''ll work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to nurture an aspirational and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver personalised learning journeys aligned with pupils'' EHCPs, focusing on functional academics, social communication, and life skills
Differentiate curriculum delivery using creative, multisensory, and assistive technologies to meet diverse learning styles
Champion a student-centred approach, embedding positive behaviour strategies, emotional regulation, and trauma-informed practice
Collaborate with SENCOs, therapists (SaLT, OT), behaviour specialists, and support staff to implement integrated support plans
Continuously assess and review progress using tracking systems; contribute to annual reviews and multi-agency meetings
Develop strong home-school partnerships, providing regular feedback and empowering parents/carers
Promote student voice, independence, wellbeing, and celebrate progress at all levels
Stay informed on SEND pedagogy, neurodiversity, adaptive learning, and inclusive practices
Essential Criteria:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with specialism or significant experience in SEN
Proven experience working with students with Moderate Learning Difficulties or similar profiles (e.g., ASC, SLD
