Key Responsibilities:
£ Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons, catering to diverse SEN needs. £ Develop and implement Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) to support student progress. £ Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and the SENCO to create a structured and effective learning experience. £ Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment, promoting academic and social development. £ Use assistive technologies and adaptive teaching methods to enhance student participation. £ Manage and support students with behavioural and emotional challenges, using positive reinforcement strategies. £ Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals to support student learning. £ Engage in school-wide SEN initiatives, professional development, and team collaboration.

Our Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualifications. Have experience teaching students with special educational needs (preferred but not essential). Be empathetic, patient, and passionate about providing high-quality SEN support. Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills, working effectively with school staff, parents, and external agencies. Have a solid understanding of SEN teaching strategies and approaches to differentiated learning. Maintain effective classroom management, encouraging engagement and positive behaviours. Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check. Have or be open to additional training in autism awareness, safeguarding, and first aid.
