Sen Teacher

Location: Multi-site role across primary schools
Salary: MPR or UPR depending on experience
Hours of Work: Full-time teaching hours
Start Date: 1st September 2026 or 1st January 2027

About the Role

We are looking to recruit an experienced teacher with a strong background in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Are you an experienced teacher with experience of teaching children with SEND?

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and teach groups of children with SEND to support their knowledge and understanding of the core subjects, including phonics.
• Conduct key SEND assessments to support the SENDCo.
• Maintain, order and develop SEND resources for staff and pupils.
• Support teachers with the writing of ISP plans, including EAL plans, and quality assure those plans.
• Provide support and guidance to teaching staff around effective strategies for pupils with SEND, including team-teaching where appropriate.
• Liaise with key agencies and parents regarding all areas of SEND.
• Cover classes when required.
