Teacher (QTS) - Secondary Nurture Group / SEND ProvisionLocation: LancasterContract: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, Fixed-Term Contract (Autumn Term Only)Start Date: September 2026Salary: From £195 per day, with higher rates available in line with experience and pay scale where appropriate.About the RoleWe are seeking a committed and compassionate qualified teacher to join our secondary nurture provision in Lancaster for the Autumn Term. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity for a teacher with experience of SEND, SEMH and inclusive practice to make a significant difference to a small group of pupils requiring additional support to engage successfully with learning. Working within a nurturing and supportive environment, you will deliver a personalised curriculum, promote positive outcomes and help pupils develop the confidence, resilience and skills needed to thrive both academically and socially. The successful candidate will work closely with the SENDCo, pastoral team and support staff to provide high-quality teaching and nurture-based interventions that enable pupils to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential.Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching and LearningPlan, deliver and assess engaging lessons for a small secondary nurture group.Adapt teaching and learning to meet a range of SEND needs, including SEMH, ASD and cognition and learning difficulties.Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.Monitor and assess pupil progress, using ..... full job details .....
