We are seeking an experienced teacher to join an outstanding special school, supporting pupils aged 6-19 with autism spectrum condition (ASC), communication and sensory needs. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and adaptable teacher to deliver a broad, balanced and engaging curriculum across a Lifeskills/ASDAN pathway, helping young people develop academically, socially and emotionally while preparing them for greater independence. Your Role As a Lifeskills Pathway Class Teacher, you will plan and deliver high-quality, personalised lessons that meet the individual needs, abilities and aspirations of each pupil. You will teach young people of secondary age who may be working significantly below age-related expectations, adapting the curriculum and teaching approaches to ensure every learner can make meaningful progress. You will support pupils to develop their independence, resilience, communication and confidence, both within the classroom and in preparation for life beyond school.
