SEN Teacher

A reputable SEN secondary school in Gillingham, Kent, are seeking an experienced, full time SEN Teacher to join their KS3 classroom.

What we are looking for

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEN
• Strong classroom management and communication skills, with the confidence to manage challenging behaviour effectively, whilst maintaining positive relationships with students
• Compassionate, calm, and resilient, with a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners and helping them achieve positive outcomes
• Support pupils with SEN needs, behavioural challenges and additional learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver engaging, creative lessons, adapted to different learning styles and capabilities of students.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils who may have faced previous barriers to learning
• Track progress, set personalised targets, and celebrate every success - no matter how big or small
• Committed to safeguarding and pupil well-being
• A genuine passion for SEN education and making a positive difference.
