Park House is looking for a SEN Teacher to join our dedicated team and deliver inclusive, engaging, and therapeutic education tailored to each learner.Location: Barnsley 40 hours per week (Full-time, Term-Time) Start Date: As soon as possibleKey Responsibilities:Plan and deliver personalised lessons for learners with a range of SEN, including SEMH, autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.Differentiate instruction to suit individual needs and learning styles, ensuring accessibility and engagement for all pupils.Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, and SENCOs to develop and implement EHCP targets.Promote a nurturing, trauma-informed learning environment where students feel safe, respected, and motivated.Assess pupil progress regularly and adapt learning plans accordingly to support academic and personal development.Contribute to behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies in line with the school''s ethos and policies.Maintain detailed records of pupil achievements, behaviour, and attendance, and communicate effectively with parents and carers.Must-Have Skills and Qualifications:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentProven experience teaching pupils with SEN and/or SEMHStrong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and EHCP processesAbility to deliver creative, ..... full job details .....
