We are working closely with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Islington who are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis.This role is to cover long-term sickness and would suit a teacher confident in delivering English, Maths and/or Science to students with special educational needs, while creating a calm, structured and supportive learning environment.The school is proud of its inclusive ethos and strong pastoral support, ensuring every student feels valued, supported and able to achieve their potential academically, socially and emotionally.The RolePlan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in English, Maths or Science, tailored to individual learning needsSupport students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and additional learning needsAdapt the secondary curriculum to ensure accessibility and progress for all learnersCreate a positive, structured classroom environment where students feel safe and motivatedMonitor and assess progress, adjusting teaching strategies as neededWork closely with TAs, SENCOs, pastoral teams and external professionalsContribute to EHCP targets, reviews and support plansPromote inclusion, independence and positive ..... full job details .....
