SEN Teacher (Maternity Cover)Contract Type: 12-month fixed term (potential to become permanent)Location: Boston - PE20Salary: Main Teacher Pay ScaleWe are seeking a Generalist Teacher to cover a maternity leave, with the potential for the role to become permanent. The ideal candidate will have SEN (Special Educational Needs) teaching experience and hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). While a background in Maths and Science is preferred, we are open to candidates from various subject areas.Day-to-day of the role:Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects, adapting to the needs of SEN students.Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with curriculum objectives.Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students.Collaborate with other teaching staff and SEN specialists to enhance educational practices and student learning experiences.Participate in school meetings and events.Required Skills and Qualifications:Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Experience in teaching SEN students is essential.Strong subject knowledge in Maths and Science is ideal, but candidates with expertise in other subjects are also encouraged to apply.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to create and adapt teaching materials to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.Interview Process:Face-to-face interview, including a 20-30 minute lesson delivery.The first part of the interview will involve a review of the lesson ..... full job details .....
