Do you want to make a meaningful impact by supporting children and young people with complex needs to thrive in mainstream educational settings?We are seeking a SEND Specialist Teacher to join a specialist inclusion service, working collaboratively with schools, families and professionals to promote inclusive practice and improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND.The RoleThis is a mobile role, combining school-based work, collaboration with professionals, and flexible working from home where appropriate. You will play a key part in building capacity across schools by delivering expert assessment, advice, modelling and training.Your responsibilities will include:Undertaking specialist SEND assessments for children and young people with complex needs, using a graduated and collaborative approachProviding advice, coaching and training to teachers and school staff on inclusive curriculum design and evidence-based strategiesDelivering and modelling high-quality, research-led specialist teachingSupporting schools to embed recommendations through ongoing monitoring and quality assuranceContributing to EHCP assessments, reviews and statutory processesDeveloping and delivering training programmes and practical resourcesWorking closely with parents/carers, schools and ..... full job details .....
