Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher with QTS looking for a rewarding opportunity within a specialist education setting?
We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in the Uxbridge area, supporting pupils with additional needs through a personalised, nurturing and engaging approach to education.
The Role You will be responsible for creating a positive and supportive learning environment where pupils can develop academically, socially and emotionally.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons.
• Supporting pupils with SEN and complex learning needs.
• Adapting teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs.
• Creating a safe, structured and inclusive classroom environment.
• Supporting pupils with their communication, confidence and independence.
• Monitoring and assessing pupil progress.
• Working closely with Teaching Assistants and the wider school team.
• Developing positive relationships with pupils and promoting their wellbeing.
• Contributing to individual learning plans and wider pupil support strategies.

• QTS is essential.
• Previous experience working with pupils with SEN is highly desirable.
• Experience with autism or complex needs would be advantageous.
• Patient, caring and adaptable approach.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Confident differentiating learning and adapting resources.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Passionate about supporting pupils to reach their full potential.
• Committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
