We are working with a well-regarded Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Lewisham that is seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis. This rewarding role involves supporting secondary-aged students who have faced barriers to mainstream education and require additional support to achieve their full potential. The Role You will be teaching and supporting students with a range of needs, including: Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) ADHD Challenging behaviour Trauma-related needs Additional learning needs The successful candidate will create engaging lessons, build positive relationships, and help students re-engage with education in a supportive and structured environment. What We''re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) Experience teaching students with SEN, SEMH, or within alternative provisions is highly desirable Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills Ability to build trust and rapport with vulnerable young people A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach Commitment to improving outcomes for students with complex needs The School Offers Small class sizes and high staff-to-student ratios A supportive and experienced ..... full job details .....
