SEN Teacher
SEN TeacherProspero Teaching is working with a specialist SEMH provision in the Farnborough area to recruit a dedicated and resilient SEN Teacher (QTS) for a September start. This is a permanent opportunity within a supportive and structured setting designed to meet the needs of pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.In this role, you will teach KS3-aged pupils following a primary-style curriculum, adapting learning to suit individual needs and focusing on both academic progress and emotional development. The setting prioritises relationship-building, consistency, and creating a safe environment where students can re-engage with education.This is a highly rewarding position for teachers who are passionate about SEN and want to make a meaningful impact.The Role:Deliver a primary curriculum to KS3 pupils within an SEMH settingPlan and deliver structured, differentiated lessonsSupport pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour needsBuild strong, consistent relationships with studentsCreate a calm, safe, and supportive learning environmentWork closely with teaching assistants and pastoral teamsTrack pupil progress and adapt approaches accordinglyPromote engagement, confidence, and independenceFollow safeguarding and school policies consistentlyIdeal Candidate:Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Experience teaching primary or KS3 pupilsStrong interest in working within an SEMH or SEN settingConfident behaviour management and de-escalation skillsPatient, ..... full job details .....
