SEN Teacher

SEND Teacher -Birmingham 
Start Date: September
Contract: Temporary ( temp to perm)
Pay: £140 - £200 per day

We are seeking an experienced Post-16 ASC Teacher for a long-term placement to support Post 16 Learners, working with ASC learners, some behavioural challenges and additional learning needs. The role involves teaching and taking full responsibility for their teaching, including planning and evidencing progress

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality lessons tailored to SEND

- Plan and implement personalised learning strategies and interventions
- Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour management
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
- Work collaboratively with support staff, SENDCo, and external agencies
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress, behaviour, and interventions
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment

Job Requirements
- Qualified teacher status (QTS)
- Experience teaching pupils with SEMH and additional learning needs
- Strong behaviour management and restorative practice skills
- Ability to plan and deliver differentiated lessons
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection

- Willingness to work across SEND/ SEMH schools across Birmingham

• Experience planning and delivering differentiated lessons for complex SEND needs
• Confidence with assessment, progress tracking and working as part of a wider SEND team
