Job Title: SEN Teacher PMLD Teacher - Specialist SEND SchoolLocation: East LondonKey Stage: KS1 - KS4Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pmContract: Full-timePay Rate: Competitive (dependent on experience) We are currently recruiting a dedicated and compassionate PMLD Teacher to work in a specialist SEND school based in Hackney. This role involves teaching pupils across Key Stages 1 to 4 with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), complex physical disabilities, and medical needs. Pupils require highly individualized teaching, sensory-based learning opportunities, and significant adult support to access learning, communication, and daily living activities. Key Responsibilities: Planning and delivering engaging, personalized lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with PMLD Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes communication, engagement, and independence Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, families, and external professionals to support pupil development Leading and coordinating a multidisciplinary approach to meeting pupils'' educational, physical, communication, and personal care needs Monitoring and assessing progress against EHCP outcomes and individual learning targets Using a range of communication approaches, including AAC, sensory strategies, and intensive interaction Contributing to annual reviews, reports, and professional meetings Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ..... full job details .....
