      <description>Location: Abbey | Salary: &amp;pound;160 - &amp;pound;220/day | Type: Temporary | SEND Primary Teacher / SEND Professional  1 to 1 role  Part-Time  Primary School  Merton   We are seeking a qualified teacher (QTS) or an experienced unqualified SEND practitioner to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with significant social and emotional needs. This is an immediate start opportunity, offered on a full-time or part-time basis depending on the successful candidate’s availability.   The role   In this role you will be providing 1:1 support for a Year 3 pupil within a primary school setting in Merton. The pupil is currently being educated at home due to significant trauma, and the Headteacher is seeking to support a carefully planned and gradual reintegration into structured school-based learning. This is a highly individualised role, with the pupil taught on a dedicated 1:1 basis away from the main classroom environment.  The pupil presents with highly complex needs and may display distressed, challenging, and at times physically aggressive behaviour.
