Supporting pupils with behavioural, emotional and social needs. Adapting teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs and abilities. Creating a positive, consistent and nurturing learning environment. Developing strong relationships with pupils and helping them build confidence and self-esteem. Managing challenging behaviour using appropriate strategies and a calm, consistent approach. Supporting pupils to develop their academic, social and emotional skills. Working closely with support staff and other professionals to ensure pupils receive the appropriate support. Helping pupils re-engage with education and work towards positive outcomes.
