SEN Teacher of Business Studies

We are working on behalf of an SEN school that is looking for a temporary teacher this term. The school is approximately a 10-minute drive from Birmingham City Centre and caters for KS4 students with SEMH and involves the following:The role would be to start in the autumn term and would be till Christmas in the first instance.The school will be advertising the role and therefore would welcome applications from any temporary member of staff covering the position.The role is Monday to Friday, 8.30 am - 3.30 pm, and the role would be on a term-time only temporary time sheet basis with the teacher being paid to scale in line with their experience and qualificationsYou would be teaching pupils from 14 to 16 years of age who have been excluded from mainstream due to social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challengesSome pupils also have other special needs such as ASC and ADHD but are taught in small classes with experienced Teaching Assistants supportingThe role is covering BTEC Business Studies and Creative iMedia and the school would ideally like someone with QTS, but it is open to anyone who is an experienced unqualified teacher or qualified sports coachYou need to have an empathy and understanding for working with children with SEMH and have strong behaviour managementThe school consists of a close-knit team who support each other, and they have strong leadership and are driven by giving their pupils the opportunity to thrive and turn their lives aroundThe school is well ..... full job details .....
