A fantastic Primary SEN school in Edgware is seeking a dedicated SEN teacher to join their team. This role involves teaching a small class of pupils with ASD, PMLD, and associated complex needs. SEN Teacher Role: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with ASD, PMLD, SLCN and Complex needs. Create a safe, structured, and stimulating classroom environment. Use positive behaviour management strategies to support students effectively. Work closely with a strong team of SEN support staff, therapists, and parents. Track progress and contribute to individual learning plans (EHCPs). About you: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or SEN qualification . Strong knowledge of ASD and PMLD and strategies for supporting students with complex needs. Skilled in managing challenging behaviour with a calm, proactive approach. Flexible, creative, and able to adapt quickly to meet student needs.
