SEN Teacher

SEN Teacher Required Contract: Full-time, 5 days per week Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a specialist educational setting in the North West. This SEN Teacher role is full-time ideally, although part-time hours will be considered for the right candidate. The ideal SEN Teacher will have previous experience supporting children with a range of special educational needs including Autism, developmental disabilities, and behavioural needs. The successful Teacher will be committed to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every child can achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities of the SEN Teacher: Develop and adapt Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to meet pupils individual learning needs Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to pupils with Special Educational Needs as an effective SEN Teacher Support pupils academic, social, and emotional development across all areas of learning Use a range of teaching strategies, behavioural interventions, and learning technology to support pupil progress Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, parents, and external professionals to provide holistic support Manage classroom behaviour effectively using positive behaviour management strategies Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches where necessary Provide targeted support for pupils with Autism, speech and language needs, and additional learning ..... full job details .....
