SEN Teacher

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established SEN primary school located in SE23, seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Teacher to join their supportive team.

The Role:

• Class teacher role with responsibility for a small class of primary-aged learners (Key Stage 2)

• Initial contract for a minimum of one term, with potential to extend

• Care and pastoral duties for your class, supported by two experienced teaching assistants

• Manage your own lesson planning and delivery

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - no Early Career Teachers (ECTs) considered

• Proven experience teaching in UK primary schools

• Experience or strong interest in Special Educational Needs (SEN) preferred - pupils include those with autism and other complex needs

• Must have native-level or near-native fluency in English, due to the high prevalence of speech and communication difficulties among pupils

• Candidates from secondary education seeking to move into primary will not be considered
