This part-time role is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting the educational development of hearing-impaired students. Day-to-day of the role: Assist in the delivery of educational programs specifically designed for hearing-impaired students. Support the classroom teacher in creating an inclusive and effective learning environment. Facilitate communication between students and staff using appropriate sign language and other communication aids. Help prepare and set up resources and equipment needed for daily activities. Work closely with other professionals within the hub, such as audiologists and speech therapists, to implement comprehensive support plans for students.
