SEN Teacher Assistant - Full Time - Temp to Perm - Harrow - September Start

Are you a supportive and caring individual with a passion for working alongside children?

We are currently recruiting for a SEN Teacher Assistant to work full time at a special needs school based in Harrow. This special needs school go above and beyond for 6th form learners with moderate to complex learning difficulties. Working in smaller classrooms with a personalised curriculum to meet the needs of each learner and help them to unlock their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain safeguarding/health and safety policies of the school

• Ensure of personalised approach to showing support

• Use positive behaviour techniques

• Understand how ASD can create barriers to learning and how to overcome them

• Work closely with support staff to find personalised strategies to encourage each learner to unlock their full potential.
