This new post at the school will see the successful SEN Teacher leading on intervention for groups of children across the school with ASD. The school has a high percentage of children with additional needs and this new role will support children, teachers and the children''s parents and carers to ensure children with additional needs get a more tailored and enriched curriculum that meets their needs.The successful SEN Teacher will have an excellent working knowledge of Primary curriculum and hands on relevant working with children with ASD. A SEN specialism or additional training in this area would be advantageous but not essential.
