The school provides specialist education for children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping pupils to re-engage with education and develop the skills they need to thrive.The successful teacher will play an important role in creating a positive and consistent learning environment. You will be expected to deliver engaging lessons while recognising that pupils may require a more individualised approach to both learning and behaviour. Strong relationship-building skills are essential, as trust and consistency are key to helping pupils make progress.The Role - SEN TeacherAs part of the teaching team, you will:Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons suited to individual abilities and needs.Provide a structured and supportive classroom environment.Develop positive relationships with pupils and encourage their confidence and independence.Use effective behaviour management strategies to support pupils with SEMH needs.Track progress and adapt lessons to ensure pupils are continuing to develop.Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, pastoral staff and other members of the school team.Support pupils not only academically, but also with their wider ..... full job details .....
