Looking for a change? ever worked in SEN schools, love teaching but feel the bigger classrooms are too much and would prefer smaller settings SEN classes have between 8-12 pupils. More intimate, supported by 2 TA''s Role responsibilities Teaching all allocated areas of the primary curriculum; (English, Maths, science, topic, Geography, history, DT, ASDAN, PHSE, Computing) Planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class group Maintain discipline within the classroom that is in line with the the schools Behaviour Policy Motivate pupils enthusiastic, imaginative presentation, setting standard for lesson presentation Requirements Hold Qualified Teacher Status Successful teaching experience SEN Experience and a focus on nurture - SEMH/ASD. A good knowledge of the National Curriculum knowledge in more than one area Excellent behaviour management skills Reflective practitioner A good understanding of therapeutic approaches to education Ability to adapt teaching to meet pupils'' needs Proven ability to offer dynamic and engaging lessons How to apply: Please apply below or contact the office on (phone number removed).
