Location: Barnet, North LondonPay: £95-£115 per day PAYE, depending on experienceContract: Full-time Long-termStart Date: September 2026Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist primary school in Barnet from September 2026.This is an excellent opportunity for a caring, resilient and experienced teaching assistant who enjoys working with pupils with additional needs and wants to make a genuine difference to their progress.The RoleYou will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored support to pupils across the primary age range. The school caters for children with a range of SEND, and the successful candidate will be confident adapting their approach to meet individual needs.You will be supporting pupils with:Autism and communication needsLearning difficulties and additional learning needsEmotional and social developmentBehaviour and regulation1:1 and small-group interventionsClassroom routines and learning activitiesThe Ideal CandidateThe school is looking for someone with previous experience working in a school setting, ideally supporting pupils with SEND.You will need to be patient, proactive and confident working as part of a wider education team.
