SEN Teaching Assistant (Special Educational Needs TA)

to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.The Role:Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant role supporting children with EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans)

Work one-to-one or in small groups with pupils with special educational needs

Collaborate with the school SENCO, class teachers, and external professionals

Help implement personalised support plans, monitor progress, and promote positive behaviour

Based in a supportive primary school with a strong inclusion ethos

Key Requirements:Experience supporting children with special educational needs (in a school or care setting)

Strong communication, empathy and behaviour management skills

A positive, patient and resilient approach to working with children with additional needs

A relevant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, Teaching Assistant Certificate) is beneficial but not essential

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one through us)
