TeacherActive is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN TA to join a supportive school in Carshalton, South London, starting as soon as possible.The school supports pupils with a range of special educational needs (SEN) and provides a nurturing, structured environment where pupils are encouraged to develop academically, socially and emotionally.As an SEN TA, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide both 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils to access learning, remain engaged and develop greater independence.You may support pupils with ASC, ADHD, SEMH, communication needs, sensory needs and learning difficulties, so a patient, adaptable and positive approach is essential.You will help pupils manage their emotions and behaviour, encourage positive engagement with learning and build strong, trusting relationships.
