SEN Teaching Assistant Specialist School in Shrewsbury Tara Professional Recruitment is currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to support a specialist SEN school in the Shrewsbury area throughout the 2026/27 academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring, patient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work with children and young people with complex additional needs in a highly supportive specialist setting. The school provides personalised education and support for pupils with a range of needs, including complex and profound learning difficulties, autism, physical and mobility needs, communication difficulties and complex medical needs. The Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the wider school team to support pupils with their learning, development, communication and independence. Every pupil is different, so the role requires someone who can adapt their approach and provide calm, consistent and individualised support.
