Job Description:
- Provideandnbsp;1:1 and small group supportandnbsp;for pupils with a range ofandnbsp;SEN, includingandnbsp;ASD,andnbsp;ADHD, andandnbsp;speech and language needs
- Assist in the delivery ofandnbsp;differentiated learning activitiesandnbsp;under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO
- Foster aandnbsp;safe,andnbsp;inclusive, andandnbsp;nurturing environmentandnbsp;where all pupils feelandnbsp;valuedandnbsp;andandnbsp;understood
- Support pupilsandrsquo;andnbsp;social,andnbsp;emotional, andandnbsp;academic developmentandnbsp;throughandnbsp;positive reinforcementandnbsp;andandnbsp;structured routines
- Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing toandnbsp;EHCP reviewsandnbsp;andandnbsp;individual learning plans
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensureandnbsp;consistent supportandnbsp;andandnbsp;effective communication
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working with children withandnbsp;Special Educational Needsandnbsp;(desirable but not essential)
- Beandnbsp;patient,andnbsp;empathetic, andandnbsp;adaptable, with a strong understanding ofandnbsp;inclusive practice
- Demonstrate excellentandnbsp;communicationandnbsp;andandnbsp;teamwork skills
- Be committed toandnbsp;safeguarding,andnbsp;student wellbeing, andandnbsp;professional growth
- Hold relevant qualifications or training inandnbsp;SEN supportandnbsp;(desirable but not essential)
