Job Description:
- Provideandnbsp;tailored supportandnbsp;to pupils with a variety of SEND, includingandnbsp;ASD,andnbsp;SEMH, andandnbsp;MLD
- Assist in deliveringandnbsp;adapted learning activitiesandnbsp;under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO
- Create aandnbsp;safe,andnbsp;stimulating, andandnbsp;inclusive learning spaceandnbsp;that nurtures independence and self-esteem
- Support the delivery and review ofandnbsp;EHCPsandnbsp;in collaboration with staff and external agencies
- Use a range of strategies to promoteandnbsp;communication,andnbsp;emotional regulation, andandnbsp;positive behaviour
- Build strong,andnbsp;trust-based relationshipsandnbsp;with pupils, families, and colleagues
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND in aandnbsp;primary or specialist settingandnbsp;(preferred but not essential)
- Aandnbsp;compassionate,andnbsp;flexible, andandnbsp;resilientandnbsp;individual with a genuine passion for inclusive learning
- Strongandnbsp;communication,andnbsp;organisation, andandnbsp;collaborative workingandnbsp;skills
- Confidence in supportingandnbsp;personal careandnbsp;andandnbsp;sensory needsandnbsp;when required
- Commitment toandnbsp;safeguarding,andnbsp;ongoing development, andandnbsp;team-based practice
