Job Description:

• Provideandnbsp;tailored supportandnbsp;to pupils with a variety of SEND, includingandnbsp;ASD,andnbsp;SEMH, andandnbsp;MLD
• Assist in deliveringandnbsp;adapted learning activitiesandnbsp;under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO
• Create aandnbsp;safe,andnbsp;stimulating, andandnbsp;inclusive learning spaceandnbsp;that nurtures independence and self-esteem
• Support the delivery and review ofandnbsp;EHCPsandnbsp;in collaboration with staff and external agencies
• Use a range of strategies to promoteandnbsp;communication,andnbsp;emotional regulation, andandnbsp;positive behaviour
• Build strong,andnbsp;trust-based relationshipsandnbsp;with pupils, families, and colleagues

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND in aandnbsp;primary or specialist settingandnbsp;(preferred but not essential)
• Aandnbsp;compassionate,andnbsp;flexible, andandnbsp;resilientandnbsp;individual with a genuine passion for inclusive learning
• Strongandnbsp;communication,andnbsp;organisation, andandnbsp;collaborative workingandnbsp;skills
• Confidence in supportingandnbsp;personal careandnbsp;andandnbsp;sensory needsandnbsp;when required
• Commitment toandnbsp;safeguarding,andnbsp;ongoing development, andandnbsp;team-based practice
