SEN Teaching Assistant Job Title: SEN Teaching AssistantPay Rate: Per DayLocation: WalsallStart Date: As soon as possibleHours: 8 30Duration: 2025/2026 Academic Year Smart Education are working with a Secondary Academy located in the heart of the Midlands, located just outside of Birmingham, in Walsall. This school are looking to appoint a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join them from as soon as possible for a role working in their SEND resource base that will run through to the end of the academic year 2026 initially. The role will see the successful SEN TA taking on a 1:1 support role working with pupils who have received a statement. Pupil behaviour can be challenging though their is a hugely supportive staff team that work to provide the best possible environment and experience for these pupils.The successful applicant will ideally be an experienced SEN TA with Key Stage 3/4 experience who is passionate about supporting and working with pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds, who are looking to overcome their challenges.
