The Opportunity:
Long Term Futures are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in the Greenwich area.
The school supports pupils with a range of complex needs, including Autism (ASD), physical disabilities, and communication difficulties, within a structured and nurturing environment. This role requires someone confident supporting personal care, ensuring pupils'' dignity, wellbeing, and independence are always prioritised.
This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a specialist setting.

Your Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN
* Assist with personal care, including hygiene and mobility support
* Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and sensory needs
* Implement structured routines and personalised support strategies
* Assist teachers in adapting lessons and resources
* Help create a safe, calm, and inclusive learning environment
* Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families

Requirements:
* Experience supporting pupils with SEN in a school or care setting
* Confidence and willingness to carry out personal care responsibilities
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills
* Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
* Understanding of safeguarding, SEN practice, and inclusive education
