ASAPAre you a skilled SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion for helping children reach their full potential? We are seeking a highly experienced SEN TA to join a supportive school in Maidenhead, where every child’s needs and achievements are valued.Responsibilities
Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a variety of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language challenges.Collaborate closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement tailored strategies and Individual Education Plans (IEPs).Adapt activities and learning resources to ensure accessibility and engagement for all learners.Support positive behaviour management and emotional regulation in the classroom.Encourage independence, resilience, and confidence in pupils with additional needs.Requirements
Brings
proven experience
as a SEN TA, ideally across both mainstream and specialist settings.Has a strong understanding of effective SEN strategies and behaviour management approaches.Communicates clearly and empathetically with pupils, staff, and parents.Is patient, resilient, and committed to making a meaningful impact.Holds relevant qualifications (CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent) – desirable, but extensive experience will be considered.Benefits
