Now Hiring: Teaching Assistant - SEMH and ASD SupportWe are currently working to support a well-established specialist school to recruit a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to join an experienced and supportive team, working across one of their specialist sites catering to students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).Whether you''re a qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant or someone with relevant experience in specialist settings, this role offers a chance to develop professionally in a rewarding and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Provide classroom-based and one-to-one support for pupils with SEMH and/or ASDSupport teaching staff in delivering engaging, accessible lessons tailored to individual learning needsFoster positive relationships and promote social and emotional developmentAssist with behaviour support strategies under the guidance of specialist staffContribute to a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment

What We\''re Looking For

A committed, energetic, and proactive individualExperience or understanding of working with students with SEMH and/or ASDA Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience)Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support individual pupil progressStrong communication skills and a caring, patient attitude
