SEN Outreach Tutor - Barking and Dagenham Are you a passionate educator looking to make a real difference outside the traditional classroom setting? Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Outreach Tutor to work 1:1 with pupils across Barking and Dagenham who are currently not in mainstream education. These young learners may face a range of challenges, including SEN needs, anxiety, or long-term absence from school. About the RoleAs an Outreach Tutor, you will deliver personalised and engaging education plans tailored to each student''s needs. Your role is pivotal in helping these pupils re-engage with learning, rebuild their confidence, and progress academically.This is an ideal opportunity for experienced teachers or tutors who are looking for a more flexible, student-focused approach to education. Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver bespoke 1:1 tutoring sessions (face-to-face) in various locations across Barking and Dagenham.Plan and deliver lessons across core subjects, adapted to individual student needs.Support pupils with SEN or social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.Encourage personal growth, routine, and educational engagement.Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to the Prospero team.
