This is a vital role for a student who is currently unable to access mainstream education. The tutor will deliver personalised academic support in a nurturing, low-pressure environment - with a strong emphasis on relationship-building, emotional regulation, and developing confidence and trust.Key Responsibilities:Deliver 1:1 tutoring sessions for up to 12 hours per week (ideally over 4 days).Tailor learning activities to suit the student''s interests, needs, and EHCP targets.Support emotional well-being, using trauma-informed and student-centred approaches.Liaise with parents/carers and other professionals as needed to support progress.Create a calm, engaging, and safe learning environment - either at home or in the community.Essential Requirements:Experience working with children or young people with ASD, ADHD, anxiety, and/or EBSNA.A calm, empathetic, and adaptable approach to teaching and behaviour support.Strong understanding of SEND and safeguarding.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).How to apply:Please send a copy of your CV over to (url ..... full job details .....
