Vida Education are working with a number of supportive primary and secondary schools across Lancashire who are seeking dedicated SEN TAs to join their teams.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs and helping them thrive both academically and emotionally.What You''ll Be DoingProviding 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with a range of SEND, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs and learning difficulties.Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour and engagement using positive, trauma-informed strategies.Adapting learning materials and breaking down tasks to ensure accessibility for all learners.Working closely with the class teacher, SENDCO and external professionals to implement EHCP targets.Assisting with personal care where required Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils who need consistency and encouragement.Supporting pupils during transitions, unstructured times and throughout the school day.Skills and Qualities We''re Looking ForStrong understanding of SEND needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and communication difficulties.Confident using de-escalation techniques and restorative approaches.Ability to use visual supports, timetables, social stories and other communication tools.Experience with ..... full job details .....
