SEN Specialist 1:1 Tutors - London Borough of Barking & Dagenham

Are you a passionate, patient and dedicated tutor who wants to make a real difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

We are looking for SEN Specialist 1:1 Tutors to support children and young people across the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham.

About the Role

You will provide personalised, one-to-one educational support, helping young people develop their confidence, achieve their potential and engage positively with learning.

We are looking for Tutors who:

- Have experience supporting children and young people with SEN and additional needs.
- Can adapt learning to meet individual needs and abilities.
- Demonstrate patience, empathy and a positive approach.
- Can build trusting relationships and encourage engagement.
- Have strong communication skills and an understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.

Experience supporting young people with autism, ADHD, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, and other additional learning needs is highly desirable.
