Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing to meet the needs we support.We are on a mission to transform the quality of education provided to young people with SEN/SEND, SEMH, MLD, and SLD. We seek tutors with a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners in the West Midlands. At Targeted Provision we aim to raise local educational support, with a team around the child and SEN / SEND Support Specialists available to assist during every placement. This role is suitable for qualified SEN / SEND teachers who prefer 1:1 tutoring with a flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed approach to improve engagement and educational outcomes.What we offer our SEN / SEND Tutors

Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, and other Additional Educational Needs referred to Targeted ProvisionSupport is delivered to young people referred by local authorities and schools, focusing on educational and social-emotional developmentDeliver flexible, holistic, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring to support their journeyTasks and responsibilities
Plan each tutoring sessionDeliver holistic, engaging sessions aligned to the young person’s needs and progressComplete lesson reports and provide progress feedbackQualifications and requirements
Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS)Minimum 2 years teaching experienceExperience working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other Additional Educational NeedsKnowledge of safeguarding processesEnhanced DBS (assistance available to obtain at cost)Two professional referencesUK-based with right to work (including remote/online assignments)It is a strict requirement that you promote health, safety and wellbeing of children and follow safeguarding policies at all times.Employment status
