SEN Teacher - South East London - -210 - -270 - September / ASAP Start - Full Time
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join a supportive school based in South East London for a September or an ASAP start.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who is confident supporting pupils with additional needs and creating a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment.
The school supports students with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, moderate learning difficulties, and complex needs.
The Role:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Support pupils academically, socially, and emotionally
- Work closely with support staff, SENCOs, therapists, and external professionals
- Manage behaviour effectively using positive and consistent strategies
- Contribute to EHCP targets, progress reviews, and individual learning plans
- Create a safe, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Have previous SEN teaching experience
- Be confident supporting pupils with ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and complex needs
- Have strong behaviour management skills
- Be patient, adaptable, and resilient
- Be passionate about inclusive education and supporting vulnerable learners
