ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Prospero Teaching is looking for an experienced SEN Primary Tutor to provide 1:1 support to primary-aged pupils across Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas.

You will work with children with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties, delivering tailored lessons to support engagement, confidence, and academic progress.

This role is ideal for teachers, tutors, or experienced support staff looking for flexible work outside of the classroom.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location: Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas
• Position: SEN Primary Tutor
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Type: Temporary
• Hours: 10-15 hours per week
• Session Length: 1-3 hours
• Working Pattern: Part-time, flexible

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years'' experience teaching or supporting primary-aged pupils on a 1:1 basis
• Experience working with a range of SEN needs
• QTS, PGCE, Level 3 qualification, or equivalent experience (desirable)
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Safeguarding training (desirable)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
• Provide two child-related references covering the last two years
