SEN Teacher - Mainstream Primary School SEN Hub
Location: Southwark, South East London
Pay: -180 - -230 a day
Start: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, term time only
Remedy Education are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher with QTS to join a supportive mainstream primary school in Southwark, working within the school''s SEN Hub.
This role will involve supporting pupils in Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 who require additional support to access the curriculum. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering tailored learning and creating an inclusive environment where all pupils can thrive.
The Role
As an SEN Teacher within the SEN Hub, you will:
Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet a range of additional learning needs
Support pupils with SEN including ASD, ADHD and learning difficulties
Deliver small group and targeted interventions to support academic progress
Work closely with the SENCO, teaching assistants and class teachers to support pupils effectively
Monitor progress and adapt learning strategies to meet individual needs
Maintain strong behaviour management and create a structured, supportive learning environment
Support pupils with their social, emotional and academic development
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working with SEN pupils in primary or specialist settings
Strong knowledge of differentiation and inclusive teaching strategies
Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
A patient, nurturing and proactive approach
The ability to work collaboratively within a team
Experience working within a mainstream school SEN hub or resource provision would be highly desirable.
