The school caters for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as autism, ADHD and trauma. The school offers a therapeutic learning environment, with small class sizes, high staff-to-student ratio, and a holistic approach to education.The Role: Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons, tailored to meet the needs of students with SEMH needs.Promote physical activity, teamwork, confidence and resilience through sport and movement.Work in collaboration with teaching and pastoral staff to create a safe, nurturing learning environment.Manage challenging behaviour with a calm, encouraging and trauma-informed approach.Scope to teach other subjects, such as PSHE.The Ideal PE Teacher:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).Experience working with SEN or SEMH.Passion for sport and physical wellbeing.Strong behaviour management skills.Ability to work across different Key Stages.If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, then apply today.
